Finally Fall

Well, it looks and feels like fall is here...for a few days anyway. Monday we were supposed to go to the Pumpkin Patch but had to skip it because of the wet weather and high winds. So to fill our morning we made hot chocolate and decorated cookies. Scarlett had never had hot chocolate before and seemed to like it. I think she really just liked that I served it in a coffee cup for her. And, in true Scarlett fashion, she did NOT like the marshmallows in the hot chocolate. They had to be on a plate next to the mug.

mixing the "coffee"

sampling the marshmallows

cheers!

her decorated cookie (like the new smile?!? it's all I can get her to do these days)

sweet Clark, hanging out in his chair while we were in the kitchen

Too cute!!! Sorry about the missed trip to the pumpkin patch but looks like you had fun, nonetheless...

Scarlett's new smile cracks me up. Her sweet personality continues to emerge. Clark is a cutie patootie and I know it must warm your heart to see that beautiful smile, too.

You have a beautiful family!

Love,
Lisa

What fun! Darby recently had her first hot chocolate- now it's all she wants, she's always asking for "hot chocolate milk." Too cute.

Hey, my dad was asking me tonight when Jordan's wedding is?

What a fun day! I'm sure you made some great memories. I don't remember my first hot chocolate but I wish I did because I love it. And I love her smile too. I think it's really funny to see kids with cheesy smiles.

Clark is so cute!
