Fiesta Fun~

This is Fiesta week in San Antonio. It used to mean going to events like Oyster Bake and NIOSA, but now it just means projects like making floats out of shoe boxes or putting as many paper flowers on a princess bike as humanly possible.

Scarlett's Mother's Day Out had their annual parade and this was the big year. She had moved on up from noisemakers and shoebox floats to the fantastic bike parade.
Clark was so upset that morning because he wanted to bring his bike too. Never mind that he can't pedal and steer at the same time, he really wanted to do what Sissy was doing. In an attempt to make him happy, I let him bring his maracas. Uncle Ben helped him entertain the crowd while we waited for the show.

getting a little cheer from Daddy
so happy Mimi got to come

I told Scarlett not to wave at us because I was afraid she might crash. Thankfully she stayed up the whole time, but there was a little bump toward the end.
(it starts out sideways, but I quickly realize it and turn the camera)

Mary - I love you! Thank you for the sweet comment - I wish it was true! But thanks anyway. I think my grandkids help me stay young! (Norris thanks you too!)
