Weekend Fun!

Brody was out of town Thursday through Sunday for a tennis convention. I am SO thankful he is only gone once a year because we really miss him when he's gone. I have such a great family, though...our weekend was full of time with everyone:

Friday we played outside and blew bubbles:
Friday night Jaime came over for dinner. We watched Sixteen Candles and made gifts for the kids teachers:
Saturday my parents came over. My awesome mom did some painting:

My sweet dad made sure Clark got a good nap:
Saturday night Jordan and Maegan came over for dinner and games:
I had a great time with my sister, brother and sister in law, and my parents are just amazing. They even took Scarlett to church on Sunday so that Clark and I could stay home and try to sleep off the colds that we have. All in all, it was a fun weekend. I do have to say, though, that this was the best part:
Welcome home Daddy!
(Scarlett picked some "homecoming leaves" for him...and please disregard the waffle fry in the picture of her in her bed...you've just got to pick your battles sometimes!)

I'm so envious of you having family in town!! One day...dream....dream.....
Loved all the decorating and crafty goodness you had going on at your house. Thank you for sharing! I loved seeing it! Gives me ideas too :-) Is the "BeMine" wooden or chipboard?? You know how I have to know these things!!

Looks like you had a fun and full weekend. I am not sure I would've even noticed my hubby was gone with all those activities.

Hope you and the clan are feeling better.

Love,
Lisa

Love the teacher gifts! Ryder's teacher got a sack full of goldfish and a card with a horse saying "be mine." Yours is much more creative and I'll have to copy your idea next year!

I love all the painting and gift making! How fun to be that talented- you ought to sell that cute stuff! I don't want to make it- I'd screw it up, but I'd buy it from you! :)

Hey stanger,
I got your info. from my soon to be sister-in-law. Your family is just precious. Your son must be born close to my twins. They just turned 7 months also. I would love to visit with you.
Love,
