Viva Fiesta

I love Fiesta! We haven't been to any of the events since we had kids, but I love this unique time in our city. While I LOVE staying home and do not miss teaching school, we did all kinds of fun Fiesta activities when I taught fourth grade since we studied Texas History. Anyway, this year at Mother's Day Out Scarlett got to decorate a "float". Brody's mom has TONS of decorations, so she came over and made her float with us. (and what I really mean is that we gave her the shopping cart and bears and she decorated it while we watched). It was a fun parade and the kids enjoyed showing off their floats, dancing to music, and eating popsicles~
Mimi even got to come this year!!

I love that dress- I have been looking for one of those for Zoe! Her hair with the big red bows and the cart - so very fiestaish! (if that is not a word we need to make it one) I am glad you got that experience with her!

I love the float! What a neat idea to have the kids do their own floats and parade. I have been to fiesta in SA twice and had so much fun both times. I need to try to go back next year.

Okay those are some serious floats. I am going to need to really study up for these before Lindy gets to school for I'm afraid she might learn I'm the lamest mom, ever...

Scarlett looked beautiful and it was the perfect (CHEAP) way to celebrate.
