It might be sweeter than the cookies

I previously mentioned that March 16, my great friend Jennifer had her second child. Scarlett has been BEGGING me to go see baby Annie. I'm always nervous about kids around babies because of germs, but when we took food to them I left Clark with my mom and Scarlett got to come with me. After a thorough washing of hands I felt safe enough to let her touch the baby. But Jenn who is so much more laid back than me let Scarlett hold her. I am telling you now, Scarlett was in Heaven. She was whispering to her and telling her how cute she was and how sweet her little hands were. She even wanted to take her home with us. I have pretty much come to terms with the fact that we are probably finished having kids, but in the words of Big Mama it hurt my ovaries to see my girl holding that baby. Congratulations again Jenn, Jeff and Henry. We love you!!

She is so sweet. Glad she FINALLY got to hold her. She had been waiting so long.

There are so many times when I think "How I would love another baby!" ...then the kids and I have a bad day and I think "I couldn't do any more!" We are past the diapers and baby stage and it is kind of nice. But oh how fun it is to have a tiny baby in your arms.
