"You can never have enough shoes"
Honestly, I love shoes. I come by it naturally. My mom loves them and while Jaime is more of a purse girl, she loves shoes too. But, in all seriousness I guess shoes could be a metaphor too, for life and the different roles we have as women and friends. I am not really good at getting deep and philosophical so these thoughts will probably be all over the place and may not even make sense. I guess I am happy I have so many different shoes because I never know which pair I will need...the old gross pair when doing dirty work, or the fun leopard pair when I'm out with friends. These shoes support me and have taken me many different places. I've been to the hospital to visit friends in these shoes, to church in these shoes, on dates with my husband, and on trips to the zoo. I can never have enough because you never know where life will take you and you may just need a new pair to get you through the moment!
OK now that I'm done, this kind of sounds like "Life is like a box of chocolates..." sorry~

BEAUTIFUL! and i was able to follow your analogy. very sweet and very true!
ok, but love the shoes - lots of variety and colors. i guess i need to update the ol' black brown and tennis shoe trio. just in case i need them for a special moment, right?
I love this! You could write a book on it- too fun! I feel like the only shoes I put on these days are the chase after my almost 2 year old shoes... they are getting worn so I think I'll go shopping! :)
Mornin' Jill~
Just trying to catch up on a mini blogger hiatus and ran across your latest post. So fun. You did a great job capturing your thoughts plus I love all your sassy shoes.
This one is going to be a bit challening! Need to give it some thought. :o)
May your life be filled with many shoes.
xoxo,

so you're going to make us think... I'll have to muster up some creative brain power!
my feet are "aging", so comfort is key with me these days when it comes to shoes!
I'm thinking. I'm thinking.
