Confession Time

This is what I let my kids have for lunch. Fries and a frosty. Not with a burger. Not with nuggets. Not even any fruit. Just the fries and frosty. It's what they wanted and I gave in. Please tell me someone else has fed their children meals that are completely and totally nutritionally void. Please. Someone? Anyone?

That's more than Jillian eats for lunch most days (even if I try to put something healthy in front of her). So I would say you are good. They need calcium in their diet don't they?? In fact, can I have that for lunch?

We've let Mia eat tortillas for dinner several times while dining at Alamo Caf*. No big deal. I consider it a treat. Another day we had a shake and tater tots from Sonic. Same thing. Enjoy! They will treasure the treat days!

are you kidding-there is calcium in the frosty! and as far as feeding kids- I am looking around my kitchen and I see poptarts, chips, fruit by the foot and crunch and munch so give in a little they will be just fine!

That's awesome. I would only allow it in my household if I was also able to have the same. :-)
